This is a list of the most frequently mentioned places that have great decorations and a totally Holiday/Christmas feel.  Some with over the top decorations, some are more subtle.  Whatever you are looking for, you will find it!

  • Loreley Beer Garden:  7 Rivington Street Lower East Side Outdoor beer garden with German-style beers, sausages, schnitzels, and communal seating. Bar
  • Magic Hour Rooftop Bar:  485 7th Avenue Midtown West Rooftop bar  – at Moxy Times Square with city views, cocktails, bar bites, and seasonal pop-up themes. Bar
  • Mean Fiddler : 266 West 47th Street Theater District / Midtown Classic Irish pub-style bar in Midtown with drinks and casual dining. Restaurant + Bar
  • Miracle on 9th:  649 East 9th Street East Village Seasonal holiday cocktail pop-up with festive decor and themed drinks. Bar
  • Oscar Wilde:  45 West 27th Street NoMad Irish pub with literary theme, cocktails, and hearty comfort food. Restaurant
  • Ophelia’s Snow Globe in the Sky:  3 Mitchell Place, Beekman Towers
  • Paddy McGuire’s:  Ale House 237 3rd Avenue Gramercy- Traditional Irish pub with a cozy atmosphere and classic drinks.

  • Pete’s Tavern:  129 East 18th Street, Gramercy – Historic NYC tavern known for its classic bar atmosphere and comfort food. Restaurant + Bar
  • Serendipity 3:  225 East 60th Street Upper East Side Iconic dessert restaurant famous for sundaes, whimsical decor, and cocktails. Yes it is delicious and not diet-friendly. Dessert
  • Serra by Birreria:  200 5th Avenue Flatiron (inside Eataly). Seasonal rooftop with Italian-inspired food and drinks in a garden-like setting. Restaurant

  • The Ready Rooftop Cantina:  112 East 11th Street East Village Rooftop bar with cocktails and East Village skyline views. Bar
