A second Independence Weekend fair, running the Sunday after the Fourth along 6th Avenue through Chelsea and into the low 30s near Herald Square. Food vendors, crafts, and merchant tables line the avenue for roughly ten blocks, making it one of the longer fair footprints in the city’s summer rotation. Its location near major shopping corridors and subway access makes it an easy add-on for visitors already near Macy’s or the Empire State Building. Free, rain or shine.
