The New York City Ballet (NYCB) 2026 Winter Season runs from January 20 through March 1, 2026, presenting six weeks of world‑class ballet at the David H. Koch Theater in Lincoln Center. The season opens with a program featuring George Balanchine’s Serenade and Prodigal Son alongside Alexei Ratmansky’s Paquita, celebrating the company’s rich repertory. The series includes two world premieres — a new work by NYCB Resident Choreographer Justin Peck (Jan 29) and another by Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky (Feb 5) — marking the 499th and 500th original ballets in the company’s history. The season also features 14 performances of Peter Martins’ full‑length production of The Sleeping Beauty and repertory works by Balanchine, Robbins, and other leading choreographers. Performances are accompanied by the NYCB Orchestra under Music Director Andrew Litton and highlight both contemporary creations and beloved classics.
