Public Transportation & ADA Services

MTA Accessible Buses – All city buses are wheelchair accessible. Very good!
While subways are supposed to be accessible, I would say NOT. Most elevators smell bad and often don’t work.
NYC Ferry – Fully ADA-compliant ferries with boarding assistance
If you are a resident, you can get Access-a-ride but often a long process to get certified and times are not reliable.
