Opening night of the 33rd season of Bryant Park’s beloved free outdoor film series, kicking off with the 1992 cult comedy Wayne’s World. The lawn opens at 5 PM for blankets and picnicking, with no chairs, tarps, or yoga mats allowed on the grass; the film starts around sunset. Hester Street Fair vendors sell food on the Fountain Terrace 4–8:30 PM, and beer and wine are available on the lawn’s western end. One of the series’ most crowded nights.
