Expect special guests in the building\, dance battles\, and you might even have to step in and show what you got. \nBrooklyn-based DJ and producer J.PERIOD is known for live “mixtape” sets that blend turntablism with a full band\, reworking decades of hip-hop and R&B into one continuous performance rather than a standard DJ set. This Block Party edition leans into classic New York hip-hop culture\, with crowd interaction and call-and-response energy closer to a backyard cookout than a concert hall.
